Aztec Hair Academy has recently hosted a training visit by the Aghioi Anargyroi Vocational Training Institute from Athens The group of twenty students (pictured here with their tutors), took part in the Mobility Project "New Tendencies in Hairdressing" which was partly funded by the Leonardo da Vinci training program. Through our links with the Aztec Country Club, we were able to arrange accommodation on site for the group, who were with us for three weeks

Pictured here in our lecture room, the students attended lectures on Hairdressing, Spanish language and culture and Careers advice. We had visits from guest speakers from Calahonda Language Centre, specialist hairdressing suppliers John & Katy Allen and also a lecture on careers in hairdressing on the cruise liners by Roksolana De Luna who is the representative of Steiner Leisure.

It was not all hard work however. As part of their visit we arranged cultural visits to see Spanish horse shows, flamenco dances and a day trip out to Malaga, which incorporated a visit to the Picasso Museum, and cultural experience of the town's many tapas bars and bodegas.
